NEW MEMBER APPLICATIONS:
We welcome applications to join the club from people who intend to use the club on a regular basis, not just once or twice a year.
Membership in the first year costs £40 (seniors £30) which includes an initial joining fee of £15 to cover admin costs. In subsequent years the annual renewal fee is £25 (£15 seniors) payable by 31st January every year.
A membership application form must be completed as follows:
– applicant details to be completed in full
– Proposer’s name & signature (must be a full EUSC member of at least 12 months standing)
– Seconder’s name & signature (must be a serving EUSC Committee member)
– receipt of a passport style photograph, emailed to: photos@eusc.club
– payment of the respective fee
Once all of the above has been received, the applicant will be invited into the club to meet our Membership Secretary and collect their interim Membership Card. The INTERIM MEMBERS CARD will grant you access at the front door. Until full membership has been granted, drinks at the bar will be at non-member rates and only 1 guest can be signed in (fee £2 per visit).
All new member applications are reviewed by the Committee at their monthly meetings and will consider any objections received in the interim. This process will take a minimum of ONE MONTH. If an application is unsuccessful, the applicant will receive a refund of all monies paid.
Once accepted, your MEMBERS CARD will be updated digitally to allow bar purchases at discounted member prices.
You MUST bring your permanent MEMBERS CARD with you on EVERY visit to benefit from the enhanced member prices.
Lost cards will incur a £5 fee for replacement.
New members should also read the notes below:
RULES OF ADMISSION:
All MEMBERS need to be aware that the EUSC is a Private Members Club and as such only Members and their guests (maximum 2 per member) can be admitted.
Guests MUST be signed in by the member on EVERY VISIT and a fee of £2 per guest paid. The guest must keep their receipt for the duration of their visit. Guests are the responsibility of the member and MUST LEAVE when the member leaves.
On Saturday nights when we have live entertainment, the fee for guests is raised to £5 per guest. Occasional specially ticketed events are held and the fee then may be increased for guests, usually £10.
Members are expected to behave in a good manner at all times whilst on the premises, including outside areas. Abusive or racist language will not be tolerated and bad language/swearing should be avoided. This applies in all outside areas including the car park to ensure that our neighbours are not disturbed.
If you see any aggressive behaviour or other non-desirable activities please highlight them to a Committee Member or the bar staff.
Anybody caught using DRUGS on the premises (including cannabis) will be ejected and will receive a BAN. You have been warned!
CHILDREN under the age of 16 should be well behaved and closely supervised by their parents at ALL TIMES! Children should NOT be present at the bar.
This is YOUR CLUB so please respect it and other members at all times.
MEMBERS CARDS:
The new Members Card system went live on Tuesday 13th May 2025.
It is vital that we hold a passport style photo (mobile phone photos should be fine, ideally with a plain background) on record before we can issue your new replacement card . Please email this in a .jpg or .png format to: photos@eusc.club as soon as possible if you haven’t already .
If you are unable to self-process a photo we will arrange the photograph at the club.
Also, we intend to start sending a monthly email to our members providing news about the club, including events or important news. We promise not to bombard your email IN-BOX with unnecessary spam.
